Prof. Dr. Benoit Combemale
Prof. Dr. Benoit Combemale | Principal Investigator

Benoit Combemale is Full Professor of Software Engineering at the University of Rennes, France. He is evolving within the engineering school ESIR, and co-head of the research team DiverSE, joint to the IRISA and Inria labs. He is also adjunct researcher in the SM@RT team of the IRIT labs. Prof. Combemale is Editor-In-Chief of the SoSyM Journal. His research interest lies in software engineering, including model driven software and systems engineering (MDE), software language engineering (SLE) and software validation & verification (V&V). Prof. Dr. Jean-Marc Jézéquel
Prof. Dr. Jean-Marc Jézéquel | Principal Investigator

Jean-Marc Jézéquel is a Professor at the University of Rennes and a member of the DiverSE team at IRISA/Inria. Since 2021 he is Vice President of Informatics Europe. From 2012 to 2020 he was Director of IRISA, one of the largest public research lab in Informatics in France. In 2016 he received the Silver Medal from CNRS and in 2020 the IEEE/ACM MODELS career award. He was an invited professor at McGill University in 2022. His interests include model driven software engineering for software product lines, and specifically component based, dynamically adaptable systems with quality of service constraints, including security, reliability, performance, timeliness etc. He is the author of 4 books and of more than 300 publications in international journals and conferences. He was a member of the steering committees of the AOSD and MODELS conference series. He is currently Associate Editor in Chief of IEEE Computer and of the Journal on Software and System Modeling, as well as member of the editorial boards of the Journal on Software and Systems, and the Journal of Object Technology. He received an engineering degree from Telecom Bretagne in 1986, and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Rennes, France, in 1989. Prof. Dr. Bernhard Rumpe

Bernhard Rumpe is the Software Engineering chair at RWTH Aachen University and Editor-In-Chief of the SoSyM Journal. He is co-author of several books like “Agile Modeling with the UML” and “Engineering Modeling Languages: Turning Domain Knowledge into Tools”. Prof. Dr. Andreas Wortmann

Andreas Wortmann is a professor at the Institute for Control Engineering of Machine Tools and Manufacturing Units (ISW) of Stuttgart University, He is a board member of the European Association for Programming Languages and Systems and serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Object Technology and the Journal on Software and Systems Modeling. Dr. Florian Rademacher
Dr. Florian Rademacher | Researcher

Florian Rademacher is a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Software Engineering at RWTH Aachen University. He completed his doctoral studies in October 2022 with a dissertation about the model-driven engineering of microservice architectures. His research interests revolve around model-driven engineering and software language engineering, and the intersection of these fields with the design, development, and operation of distributed and scalable software architectures.

Jingxi Zhang
Jingxi Zhang | Researcher

Jingxi Zhang is a PhD student at the Institute for Control Engineering of Machine Tools and Manufacturing Units (ISW) of University of Stuttgart. He earned his master’s degree in Software Engineering at University of Stuttgart. His research interests focus on the topics of model-driven engineering, digital twins, visualization techniques and artificial intelligence.

Didier Vojtisek
Didier Vojtisek | Research Engineer

Didier is a Research Engineer at the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control INRIA. He assist the research teams in the development of their software. More specifically, he has a strong background in the development and industrialization of software for Model Driven Engineering and Software Language Engineering. Dr. Quentin Perez
Dr. Quentin Perez | Researcher

Quentin Perez is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Rennes. He completed his doctoral studies in December 2021 with a dissertation about software metrics, empirical software engineering and AI for software architectures. He works actually on the energy consumption aspects of DevOps pipelines. His research interests include software architectures, empirical software engineering, AI for software engineering and software energy consumption.

Judith Michael is a postdoctoral researcher and team leader at the Chair of Software Engineering at RWTH Aachen University. She received her Ph.D. from Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt (Austria) in 2014. Lina Bilal is a PhD student at the University of Rennes. She earned her Engineering degree in Computer Science at Ecole Nationale Des Sciences Appliquées d’Oujda(Morocco), followed by a Master’s degree in Software Engineering at Aix-Marseille University. Her research interests focus on the topics of model-based DevOps, model-driven engineering and digital twins.
